In 2012, Ho’okahi Tamara wrote a book telling the story of Kahu Abraham and Na Pua ‘Olohe . The first half of Abraham Kawai?i: A brief history of the man, the kahuna, and kahuna bodywork collects the stores he told his students about his life growing up in a small Hawaiian village, his own kahuna training, and how he found a way to translate his training for non-Hawaiians. The second half tells of Ho’okahi Tamara’s own training with Kahu Abraham, their life together, and the building of Na Pua ‘Olohe.
